I've always had a love for all types of body work because I truly believe in whole body healing. We often neglect ourselves out of day to day necessity and don't realize the damage we are doing. Our body functions as a great machine and needs constant maintenance to operate correctly. When we stop essentially "feeding" ourselves the body becomes dis-eased, leading to too many medications and under approached body work! With some nutritional care, good body work, and self awareness we can avoid many illnesses. I escaped back surgery and years of bracing thanks to chiropractic care, proper nutrition, yoga and therapeutic massage. I not only lost 30 lbs but was pain free and no longer had digestive flare-ups.
I began my educational journey in 2014 because I knew that I wanted to help people the way I was helped. Massage school at FLCC was very challenging to say the least. Highly intensive in Anatomy, Physiology and Kinesiology made me see the muscles and how they react to movement and touch.
The process of graduation and licensing was strenuous and I think helps to solidify my passion for my profession. For a complete bio including my educational background and approach to massage therapy, simply give me a call or send me an email. I look forward to hearing from you.
